Although I don’t consider myself a “designer”, design principles play a huge part in my ability to successfully deliver messages for my clients. Every day I need to ensure videos are edited with consistent eye-lines; social posts have clear text hierarchy; captions are embedded with accessibility in mind; and, at all times, making sure I’m sticking to brand guidelines.
On this page are a handful of social posts, posters, and designs printed on physical merchandise.
Over the years, I’ve become very familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Canva. I’ve also got experience with Adobe Illustrator and GIMP.
While working for Enterprise Consulting (UK) LTD, one of my duties was creating a brand identity for their subsidiary, Norfolk Scanning Solutions. The brand was based on the existing ECUKL elements.
- I incorporated new colours to differentiate social content between both brands;
- I continued using the paper textures of ECUKL to keep a degree of consistency;
- Likewise, the body text was Futura for both brands, but Omes was only used for Norfolk Scanning.

You can see more of this client work on the Norfolk Scanning website, and their Instagram channel.

This advert was designed with the Norfolk Scanning brand kit in mind, and was published in several editions of About Thetford in 2024.

The Conversation Hat’s merchandise designs are a great example of using consistent brand elements. The purple painterly background is present on badges and stickers as well as digital designs like show thumbnails. These t-shirts were designed in Adobe Illustrator and printed by TeePublic; the stickers were created in Photoshop and printed by Badges & Stickers.

Business cards for Magic Roman, a children’s entertainer. The business cards needed to be colorful whilst containing all the information parents need. Roman also requested a large, blank space where he could write as part of a magic trick. The design was inspired by Roman’s unique, patchwork denim jacket.

Examples of YouTube video thumbnails – designed to create interest and stand out when viewed next to many other, small thumbnails. Many of these were part of a series, so the basic format needed to be consistent whilst specific elements were swapped in and out.

Poster design for comedy film, Piping Hot Throughout. The concept was to deliberately misrepresent the film: imply that it’s an upbeat story about a chef, when it’s absolutely not!

For every creative project, I try to craft some element in the real world. For this poster, I printed out the headline text and the icons, scrunched-up the paper, then scanned it back in to Photoshop to add the smaller text and scannables.

Poster design for Freestyle Cowboy Showdown, comedy short. This design was used to promote the film, and was updated with each award the project won.

This poster was made to attract more bands and solo artists to visit this website. Typically I wouldn’t have so much text on a poster like this, but this design was placed around a rehearsal space where musicians will spend a lot of time.
Here’s a collection of social channels where you can see examples of my design work, short-form video editing, and copywriting:

Comedy Writing for Social Media
Comedy is a great way to connect with your audience. I believe that any brand can use humour and see great results, provided you know your audience and you know where their line is. When I was getting started as a marketing freelancer, I spent a lot of time writing for clients through Fiverr. I…
Innovative Animated Scores for Opera Education – Royal Opera House Case Study
The programme director and I devised a format based on our shared backgrounds in music education, and my background in media. We took inspiration from karaoke videos, where an icon would follow lyrics across the screen; and from music education apps and games like Guitar Hero.
How to Revamp Content for Social Media Success – WeeblsStuff Case Study
It’s really hard to keep up with the constantly changing digital landscape – plenty of creators see success on one platform but struggle to build momentum and continue to grow. In the autumn of 2024 I was brought on board the WeeblsStuff team to help address this very familiar issue.
